Experienced Firefighters
APFD#3 is looking for experienced firefighters with a minimum of NREMT- Basic, FF 1 & 2 to join our Department and become part of our great team. You could start on the floor immediately if you meet all qualifications and pass our additional hiring steps, including having a current civil service test score. APFD#3 is a progressive Fire Department with state-of-the-art equipment including a new 3-story training tower and a brand-new 3000 sf Training Center Classroom. APFD#3 covers 28sq miles in northern Ascension Parish and currently operates out of 5 Fire Stations along with an Administrative Area.
